Handmade Slate Ornaments by Taylor Anne Designs that are not only made from stunning slate, but a piece of New Orleans history. Each print is a work of art by our owner/designer, Artist Taylor Anne.
Each ornament is UNIQUE and ONE OF A KIND. They are made from pieces of large roofing slates that came from houses in the French Quarter. Before Each print is sealed and details are added, each slate piece is cleaned, sealed with epoxy for durability, drilled a hole, and jute is added for hanging. Every ornament has a sticker on the back explaining its uniqueness and then drawn on with oil based gold foil ink.
These are sure to add southern charm to any home and not to mention be a one of a kind piece of artwork hanging on your tree. Although these are considered ornaments, many hang them year round in the perfect space for a tiny piece of art.

-No shape is exactly the same.
-Each ornament is roughly between 2.5 to 4 inches in length and width.
-slight chipping can occur and does not mean the slate is "broke" or "damaged". These are natural slate and although they are sealed very well to prevent chipping, it can occur.
